Justin combines the keen media insight of a veteran publicist with an editor’s instinct for synthesizing traditional communications strategies with fast-evolving online social media and marketing platforms. From customized approaches to digital engagement to helping established organizations enhance their overall media presence, Justin’s aptitude for market analysis bolsters Third Eye’s position as a socially savvy knowledge leader across multiple cultural and commercial sectors. His strengths are supported by various experiences with vanguard New York style publications, specifically an editorial and production background in fashion and arts journalism. Justin holds an MA in Art History from Hunter College.

Dan Tanzilli

With over 20 years of experience in the cultural communications sector, Dan has built a reputation for combining warmth, commitment, and a cool-headed expertise in managing all levels of communications and PR for his diverse clients—from developing long-range messaging tactics to resolving the day-to-day questions, concerns, and crises that come with operating in the public eye. Recognized as a thought leader in the world of contemporary art communications, Dan is also swiftly able to find critical intersections among high profile cultural organizations and luxury brands, forging strategic partnerships that are relevant and enduring.

Tyler Mahowald is a trusted communications leader recognized for guiding nonprofit and commercial organizations in strategic initiatives and public relations. His established network of media and influencers in visual and performing arts, architecture, design, fashion, and publishing, position him as an innovative creator in developing impactful partnerships and strategic narratives for cultural brands. Tyler has led notable campaigns including The Phillips Collection’s centennial celebration, the unveiling of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Official White House Portrait by League artist Sharon Sprung, as well as campaigns for gala fundraisers with organizations including Art Production Fund, LACMA, RxArt, and The Winter Show Benefit for East Side House Settlement.

Based in Los Angeles, Darius has been instrumental in growing Third Eye’s West Coast office since he joined the agency in 2017. He brings forth his unique background as an arts and music writer, alongside his experience working for various creative agencies and commercial galleries. Darius’ innovative, driven, and spirited approach has elevated a range of ambitious and transformative projects across art, design, and entertainment. Notably, he led the campaign for the inaugural edition of Frieze Los Angeles in 2019, directed the grand opening of Albert Frey's Aluminaire House at the Palm Springs Art Museum, as well as The Broad's record-breaking exhibition Keith Haring: Art Is for Everybody.
